With the help of our innovative measurement technology, we would like to enable our customers to rethink the concept of the pedelec. Until now, the mid-mounted motor, thanks to its integrated measurement technology, was considered unbeatable in terms of performance and efficiency.
But a pedelec with mid-motor architecture also means increased effort in terms of integration, high costs in purchasing and long delivery times. This does not have to be the case. Thanks to our Delta Sensor 1.0 bottom bracket unit, any standard frame with a BSA standard frame can be converted into a pedelec that not only stands out in terms of performance but is also more efficient and sustainable than a comparable mid-motor model. The increased efficiency is mainly due to the fact that the motor is located in the wheel hub and thus there are no additional friction losses, e.g. due to the chain drive.
In addition, the supporting hub motor has a relieving effect on the chain drive. This protects the drive components and maintenance intervals can be extended. In combination with the high tamper-resistance of the system, this should be particularly interesting for fleet operators of e-sharing bicycles and cargo services.
