INTUITIVE DRIVING EXPERIENCE THANKS TO INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY
Optimising the motor of a pedelec is a real challenge. Both the individual input of the rider and the external conditions, such as the gradient of the road, headwind but also the vehicle load can vary constantly. In order to be able to guarantee predictable and thus safe riding behaviour in every situation, we have developed our Delta Sensor measuring system. With our Delta Sensor 1.0 sensory bottom bracket, the motor assistance is always coupled to the rider’s power input according to the situation.
For this purpose, the cadence and the torque applied by the rider are recorded in real time and 360°. This information can be used to determine the rider’s power, which serves as a measure of the assistance required from the motor.
In this way, it is possible to ensure powerful and at the same time efficient motor assistance depending on the individual rider’s input. The rider is thus always in control of the situation and controls the motor intuitively by applying targeted pressure on the pedals.
